Kick-off Meeting – Oslo, Norway
June 2025

The consortium officially launched the InnoGuard Project, aligning research themes and doctoral projects. Sessions covered project governance, Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) requirements, and introductions to Work Packages.

2nd Training School – Benevento, Italy
June 2025

The Second InnoGuard Summer School, hosted by Università degli Studi del Sannio (UNISANNIO) in Benevento, Italy brought together professors and doctoral candidates for four days of learning, collaboration, and cultural exchange. The program featured lectures on control algorithms in cyber-physical systems, Artificial Intelligence (AI)I ethics and sustainability, and the legal dimensions of large language models, among other key topics.

3rd Training School – Bern Switzerland
November 2025

The International Software Engineering Winter School on Hybrid and Generative Intelligence explored topics at the intersection of software engineering, hybrid intelligence, and generative AI, with emphasis on large language models and their integration into next-generation ACPSs. The program included an industry engagement component with LOXO, an autonomous vehicle company. A key highlight of the week was the InnoGuard project review meeting with the European Commission, led by Project Officer El-Alami Boualam.

4th Training School – Málaga, Spain
February 2026

The InnoGuard Winter Training School in Málaga, Spain, provided an intensive interdisciplinary program that combined technical and legal perspectives on AI-enabled Autonomous Cyber-Physical Systems. The sessions addressed topics including AI regulation, intellectual property in the age of artificial intelligence, and engineering challenges in trustworthy AI. It also featured an official industry visit to the Google Safety Engineering Center (GSEC) in Málaga.
